To link a minion to a chest, right click the minion to open its menu, select the hopper (or chest), then simply click the desired target chest. The exception to this is on Islands, where your minion will auto-collect items to manually sell, or you can add a infinity chest for automatic selling.
Minions are invincible and will not die or despawn regardless of their remaining health points. Once a minion’s health points are depleted, it will freeze and stop functioning until fed to restore health. The exception for this is Olympus and Islands, where it'll go to sleep without food. You can add food to the minion menu or can link a chest with food on Olympus.
