Lifesteal is a diverse gamemode that takes elements from other gamemodes and creates a fun and unique idea. Lifesteal has many core ideas behind it; mainly using money, raiding other peoples bases, pvp'ing other players and grinding for leaderboards and Trophies
When you first join Lifesteal, you may notice while looking at tab that there are a number next to hearts and the totem of undying. The hearts represents how many hearts you have at that moment while the totem of undying represents the amount of lives you have.
You will begin with 10 hearts and 0 lives. If you die while having 0 lives, you will be unable to join Lifesteal for 24 hours. After 24 hours has passed, you will be able to join back with 10 hearts and 0 lives.
To steal a heart off another player, you will need to kill another player in PvP (excluding duels/some events). Alternatively, you can win a life in the Ancient, Legendary or Mythical Crate. Please note that there is a maximum of 20 lives that you can have at one time.
If you have enough hearts, you can trade in 10 hearts for one life. This is added protection to prevent you from temporarily being banned after dying.
When looking to join a team, you want to make sure you surround yourself with trustworthy and experienced Lifesteal players. To join a team, do /team accept (ign)
. You can also use /t
or /p
in place of 'team'. You can have up to ten players on your team.
If you choose not to join a Lifesteal team, you can create your own with /team create (name)
. Invite a few trusted friends, and work as a team to take down your competition by doing /team invite (ign)
.
To delete your team, type /team delete
. You will be given a code and will need to confirm that you want to delete your team by typing /team delete (code)
.
On Lifesteal, you're NOT able to claim land however there are defensive measures that has been taken to help slow people down from taking your blocks too quickly. Valuable blocks will take 15 seconds to break compared to normal blocks. You can also turn on raid alerts for when players try to break your blocks.
When a team is infact raiding you, you can use defender mobs to attack other defender mobs or players. Each defender mob is slightly different and may take different actions.
If your discord account is synced with the Manacube discord, you will be notified via a discord bot when your team is being raided. To turn that off, you can type /raidalert
.
Since you can't claim land on Lifesteal, the map will only show a small amount of information. The example above shows what a typical team map will look like. The dashed lines are unclaimed land. The '+' will show you the chunk that you're currently standing in as well as the corresponding coords. The direction (North, West, East, South and /) will be red if you're looking in that direction. In the example above, you're facing South.
You can type /warps
to travel through different areas of Lifesteal
- Teleports you to Spawn
- Teleports you to the Overworld
- Teleports you to the Nether
- Teleports you to the End
- Teleports you to the Crystal Cave
- Teleports you to your Personal home. If you have more than one home, your homes will be listed instead
- Teleports you to your Team home
When it comes to creating a Lifesteal base, some may try to build crazy designs to keep players out of their base. Since there's no claiming, it is going to be extremely easy to destroy. Stick to simple high value blocks and blocks that take a fair amount of time to destroy; obsidian, chests etc.
Whether you decide to join an existing team or create your own, it is important to set your Team Perms accordingly. These permissions help prevent players from harming your Lifesteal team. The command /t perms
will bring up a GUI to set permissions in five groups (Recruits, Members, Moderators, Admins and Owners). For more information about Lifesteal team Permissions, you can look at the Team Perms article.
Most teams find it useful to set rules to ensure members are aware of how they are expected to behave and follow the Network rules and Lifesteal Rules. Make sure you are up-to-date with rules so that you or your team members aren't banned.
On Lifesteal, you are able to do tasks for rewards. Tasks can be found by doing /tasks
. Here you can find a Slayer and Adventure task. These change every 24 hours if they are not completed.
When you hover over your Minecraft head, there will be a list of stats that's displayed.

If you go out of the GUI or look at multipliers, all items in the GUI will be sold. Make sure to take any items you don't want to sell out of the GUI before closing or looking at multipliers.
